The antibacterial filter of Inogen One G2/G3 concentrator is useful to ensure maximum health during treatment in oxygen. The antibacterial filter, in facts, keeps the finest impurities that have not been removed from the particulate filter or the zeolite filter. The antibacterial filter is placed just below the grafting of the nasal cannula. The nasal cannula hose can be removed only with the help of the apposite wrench.
The antibacterial filter for Inogen One G2/G3 should be removed and replaced every 3 months to ensure maximum operating efficiency of the concentrator. Failure to clean can impair the functioning of the machine. The antibacterial filter should be replaced every time the device also is entrusted to a new patient.
